As its first event since its opening, the Roof Museum will host a solo exhibition by Yu Nagaba, an artist active both in Japan and abroad.

This solo exhibition has been planned in conjunction with the publication of the collection "Express More with Less," which will be released at the same time as the exhibition, and will feature 25 works, including past works featured in the collection as well as several new pieces.

In 2019, he held a solo exhibition in which he switched from drawing to canvas as his support, and this exhibition continues to attract a great deal of attention. In his solo exhibition at the Roof Museum, Nagaba Yu will exhibit new oil paintings in this alternative space with a moderate size and few restrictions.
It is precisely because the Roof Museum is a place where experimental and cutting-edge expression can be seen that his works are painted with an even newer sensibility.
