[Exhibition details]
This new group exhibition focuses on six young artists who, while facing themselves, are passionate about pure art and possess unique expressions and worlds. A total of 24 works will be on display, with a focus on new works created by each artist specifically for this exhibition.
Along with the beauty and energy of the works, please feel the "life" and "soul" that breathes through them all, and experience the "concerto" played by the "soloists," who usually perform individually, in a combination of cooperation and contrast.

[Participating Artist Profiles]

Masayuki Arai |
Born in the United States in 1984.
In 2011, he completed his graduate studies in oil painting at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts.
Starting from photographs collected on the internet, he creates a series of paintings that imagine the scenery outside the frame that is not shown in the photographs.
The multi-layered pictorial space created by dripping paint suggests the state of subjectivity that is established by the presence of others, and its unstable changes.
His major exhibitions include "Like Paintings" (Primo Marella Gallery, Lugano/Switzerland, 2023), "Like a Painting" (Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store Art Salon, Tokyo, 2022), "Distorted Horizon" (STANDING PINE, Nagoya/Aichi, 2019), "VOCA Exhibition 2014: Prospects for Contemporary Art - New Artists of Plane" (Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo, 2014), and "Aichi Triennale 2013" (Nayabashi Area: Toyo Warehouse, Nagoya/Aichi, 2013). He is a recipient of the 35th Holbein Scholarship (2022).
