Lurf Museum will be hosting artist ZEN's first solo exhibition, "SEE THE WORLD DIFFERENTLY."
This exhibition features 20 canvas works themed on preserving the appearance of things that exist in the city, as well as sculptures and paintings created based on his experiences and inspiration. ZEN, who discovered parkour at the age of 15 and won the 2020 World Championships as a professional athlete, captures the cityscapes and his own movements he encountered while traveling around the world through parkour from his unique perspective.
In addition, merchandise such as T-shirts created for this exhibition, as well as the artist's first collection of works, will be sold at Lurf Museum stores and online. The first collection of works will also be released at the same time as the solo exhibition, and a talk event and opening ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 18th.

[Artist Statement]
For me, who has been living a life that connects me with the city for many years,
I even feel a sense of affection for each and every object and building in the city.
It's like a climber feeling the breath of the mountains.
Just like a surfer feels the life in the ocean.
It's hard not to feel that passion and nostalgia.
There is even a sense of sexiness in the way they breathe as they age gently while fulfilling their roles.
Did you meet or were you called?
Was it an introduction or was it drawn to each other?
With my own body and perspective, present in this place at this moment,
These works were created with the aim of bringing out the best in their charm and capturing the moments they hold dear.
